​​FOUNDATIONS CLASSES - "How to Share Your Faith"
Wednesday, September 12, 19 & 26 (6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
Is there a way to share the gospel with unbelievers that isn’t completely weird?  Yes!  Come learn how to naturally and confidently share your faith in our next series of Foundations Classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 PM on September 12, 19 and 26.  Dinner and child care are provided.  Please register through the bulletin Connect Card.

Sunday, September 9 (12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Are you interested in learning more about the church or considering membership?  Our next informational lunch is Sunday, September 9, 12-2 PM.  Lunch and child care are provided.  Please register through the bulletin Connect Card or e-mail Denese at shrum@cornerstonecbc.org. 

Are you looking for a way to get relationally connected at Cornerstone?  Then Home Teams are for you.  A Home Team is a group of approximately 10 to 15 people who meet twice a month in homes for the purpose of building friendships, praying together, serving together, and encouraging one another spiritually.  For more information about our Home Teams, please contact our Home Teams Coordinator, Jeff Pawley at pawleys93@gmail.com.

Children's Ministry

We are seeking individuals who can hep provide child care for events outside our Sunday morning worship services.  Training is provided.  If you would like to learn more about these paid positions or would like to learn more about serving in this ministry, please contact our Child Care Ministry Coordinator, Christine Harrigan, at harrigan@cornerstonecbc.org. 

Cornerstone Kids are taking an active role in the church-wide Operation Christmas Child ministry. We are asking them to help shop for, collect, unpackage, sort, and be involved in packing gifts into boxes for needy children around the world. Questions regarding the kids’ involvement should be directed to Lisa Villado, lisavillado@gmail.com.

Student Ministry

Wednesdays (7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
Starting Wednesday, September 5, all Junior High and High School students are invited to this high-energy event from 7-9 PM.  We’ll have games, mixers, fellowship, and relevant teaching exclusively tailored to Junior High and High School students.  It will be a blast…come and see!  

Sundays (6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
Starting Sunday, September 9, 6:30-8:30 PM, students will spend time together to take a deeper look into the greatest book of all time!  Students are encouraged to invite a friend who perhaps has heard about the Book but has never really looked at and studied it for themselves.

Saturday, September 15 (12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
All students are invited for a fun time at Sky Zone (10207 S. Sam Houston Pkwy W., Suite 100, Houston, TX  77071).  This event will take place on Saturday, September 15, 12-2 PM.  Cost per student is $25, which will cover food and trampoline time.  

Women's Ministry
Sunday, September 9, 16 & 23
Ladies, it's that time of the year!  Bible study is coming back!  This semester we are excited to offer "Gideon" by Priscilla Shirer.  Registration and book purchases ($15) will be available in the lobby on Sunday mornings Sept. 9, 16, and 23.  We are offering both a Wednesday morning and evening study, so that you CAN come!  And we WANT you to come!  Questions or need more information?  Please contact Gay Ann Fuller at emsgayann@gmail.com.

Join us on Friday, September 28, from 9-11 AM at Black Walnut Café (outside courtyard of First Colony Mall next to James Avery Jewelry).  Enjoy a cup of coffee, a delicious meal and a great time of fellowship.  Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Men's Ministry
Sunday, September 9, 16 & 23
Men, please join us as we study the book of Proverbs together this semester on Thursday evenings at 7 PM at the church, and on Friday mornings at 7 AM at Café Express in Sugar Land, beginning the first week in October.  Please sign up and purchase a study guide ($10) in the church lobby starting Sunday, September 9.

Thursday, September 27 (6:30 p.m.)
Men, plan to join us for an informal dinner on Thursday, September 27, at 6:30 PM, at Rudy’s BBQ (20500 Southwest Fwy, Richmond, TX  77469).  Just grab your grub on your way in, and then join us in the back room where we’ll enjoy some good fellowship and preview our Bible Study and Men’s Ministry calendar for the spring semester.  Everyone is welcome!

Saturday, September 8 (9 a.m.)
Every SECOND Saturday of the month, here at Cornerstone, we are partnering with Second Mile Mission to host a food distribution for about 150+ pre-screened, needy families.  This is a great opportunity to serve alongside your family, reaching out to our community.  If you would like to volunteer to help with this event, please contact Nora Medina at medina.nora@hotmail.com or 713-855-7881.

Hispanic Ministry

Wednesdays (7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
Every Wednesday at 7 PM, starting September 5, we are offering our program STEPS OF REDEMPTION.  This discipleship program helps you pursue redemption in Christ from sin and suffering by teaching you to know and live out the gospel.  Participants will meet weekly and walk through the curriculum with a mentor.  Registration is required.  For more information, contact Pastor Samuel at placencio@cornerstonecbc.com.
