​FOUNDATIONS CLASSES - "Understanding & Defending Your Faith"
Wednesday, January 10, 17 & 24 (6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)

Do you have to check your brain at the door to become a Christian?  Nope.  Come explore the logical and historical evidence for the Christian faith in our next series of Foundations Classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 PM on January 10, 17 and 24.  Dinner and childcare are provided.  Please register through the bulletin Connect Card.  

"STARTING POINT" LUNCH
Sunday, January 21 (12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Are you interested in learning more about Cornerstone and possibly becoming a member?  Then please join us on Sunday, January 21, from 12-2 PM for “Starting Point,” a class designed to help you better understand our beliefs, vision, values, and ministries.  Lunch and childcare are provided.  To register, please  complete the attached Connect Card or email Denese at shrum@cornerstonecbc.org (please include names & ages of children).

HOPEKEEPERS MINISTRY
Sunday, January 14 (4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

HopeKeepers, a support group and Bible Study for those who live with chronic illness or pain, meets the 2nd Sunday of each month.  Our next meeting is Sunday, January 14 from 4:30-6:00 PM in the Welcome Center at Cornerstone.  Spouses, family members, and supportive friends are invited.  Childcare can be arranged.  For more information, contact Jeff or Lesa Junek at jjunek@sbcglobal.net.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY
Financial Peace University is a money-management class taught by America’s most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey.  Through DVD sessions and group interaction, you will learn the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more.  This nine-week course meets Tuesday nights, beginning February 6.  Please register at https://fpu.com/1057173.

"LOOK AT THE BOOK" - A NEW HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY!
Sunday, January 14 (5:00 – 7:00 p.m.)

High School Students are invited to come “Look at the Book”! Starting January 14, from 5-7 PM, we are having a new Bible study for High School students.  “Look at the Book” is designed to help students understand and go deeper with Jesus, help them better understand the full scope of the Bible, and equip them with tools to spend time alone with Jesus in His word.  We will be doing a survey through the entire Bible in 2018.  Come and see!

EXCHANGE WEDNESDAY
Wednesday, January 31 (7:00 – 9:00 p.m.)

Starting January 17th, all junior high students are invited to this high energy event every Wednesday night from 7-9 PM. We’ll have games, mixers, fellowship, and relevant teaching exclusively tailored for Junior High students. It will be a blast...come and see!

STUDENT WINTER CAMP
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, February 9-11

Junior High and High School students are invited to join us for Winter Camp, an incredible weekend of Jesus-centered teaching, great friendship, and action-packed fun!  This camp will take place on February 9-11, 2018 at Camp Tejas in Giddings, TX.  This camp cost $155 per student which covers, all transportation and food for the trip.

SPRING 2018 WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY SIGN-UP

LADIES’ RETREAT VOLUNTEERS MEETING

DE GEORGE CENTER OUTREACH

Men's Ministry

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY
Thursdays 7 p.m. or Fridays 7 a.m. 
This semester our men's groups will be studying the life of the Apostle Paul together.  Study guides are available for $8 in the church lobby.  Starting February 1, our Thursday evening men’s group will meet at the church at 7:00 p.m., and starting February 2, our Friday morning men's group will meet at Cafe Express in the Sugar Land Town Square at 7:00 a.m.  All men are welcome to join us.

MEN’S KICKOFF DINNER
January 25 (6:30 p.m.)

Men, join us for an informal dinner on Thursday, January 25, at 6:30 PM at Rudy’s BBQ (20500 Southwest Fwy, Richmond, TX 77469).  Just grab your grub on your way in, and then join us in the back room where we’ll enjoy some good fellowship and we’ll preview our Bible Study and Men’s Ministry calendar for the spring semester.  Everyone is welcome!


Hispanic Ministry

STEPS OF REDEMPTION
Wednesday, January 10 (7:00 p.m.)

Every Wednesday at 7 PM, starting January 10th, we are offering our program STEPS OF REDEMPTION.  This is a discipleship program helps you pursue redemption in Christ from sin and suffering by teaching you to know and live out the gospel.  Participants will meet weekly and walk through the curriculum with a mentor.  Registration is required.  For more information, contact Pastor Samuel at placencio@cornerstonecbc.com.

OBADIAH PROJECT
