March 2017 BORP Newsletter

Dear BORP Supporter,

March Madness has taken over here at BORP. It's been a fun and exciting month of basketball, with the Jr. Road Warriors winning the West Coast Conference Championship and getting ready to got to Nationals in Kentucky! Everyone is very proud and wishing the team the best of luck! We also hosted the BORP Hoops Classic 14 this month, welcoming six teams from California and Nevada to compete on Coast Guard Island in Alameda, CA. It was a great tournament and the BORP All Stars went 4 and 1!

April is also going to be a fun month! We're looking forward to SportsFest on Sunday, April 23 where we'll be offering adaptive cycling, adaptive rock climbing, adaptive kayaking and sailing demonstrations by BAADS. A big thanks goes to event sponsors Invacare Top End and AppleWest Home Medical Supply! Click to pre-register as a participant or as a volunteer. And, now that spring has sprung, the cycling center is open three days a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday) and our Adventures and Outings program has a full calendar of upcoming trips! I hope to see you out and about at BORP soon! Check our website for all the details.
