BORP: Adaptive Sports and Recreation LOGODonate Now

November 2016 BORP Newsletter

Dear BORP Supporter,

We have exciting news to share: BORP has recently joined forces with Access Northern California (ANC). For years we have worked closely with Bonnie Lewkowicz, ANC’s founder, and now we are formalizing the relationship by bringing ANC under BORP’s organizational umbrella. We are very excited to partner with Bonnie to provide a “gateway to tourism and outdoor recreation” and to work with her to develop resources that make it easier for people with disabilities to explore outdoor destinations and take advantage of Northern California’s rich array of natural resources. For more information, click here to check out the ANC website.

And in other news, BORP's 14th Annual Poker Slam is coming up on February 25! This event is a highlight every year where BORP participants, volunteers and supporters spend a fun evening together playing poker and enoying food and drinks. All the money raised goes directly to support BORP's Power Soccer program. And, there are some really great prizes, like flights on Southwest Airlines, tickets to the San Francisco Symphony, seats at an Oakland A's game and more! To register in advance online, click here. We hope to see you there!
