Accessible Canoe Day at the Cycling Center
Recently, BORP collaborated with Minnesota-based group Wilderness Inquiry to get over 50 people in canoes at Aquatic Park in Berkeley. Wilderness Inquiry’s “Canoemobile” is on a national tour, allowing people of all abilities to get out on the water. Their 10-person Voyageur canoes, BORP’s accessible dock system, and staff and volunteers from both organizations combined for a great day on the water.

BORP’s lift makes it possible for anyone to get in a boat, and the large canoes allow for any necessary seats or assistants. We look forward to working with WI again!
