Horizon Honors Secondary Schools have accepted the challenge of helping to find a cure for blood cancer! We are joining over 27,000 schools across the nation to make a difference and raise as much money as we can! Throughout the month of November, our school will be working to reach a goal of $3000.
Starting today, each 3rd block class will have a Collect for Cures box and will compete to raise the most money through the month of November. You can get involved by putting money directly in the box in your classroom or donate by participating in one of our fundraisers throughout the month. Horizon Honors also has its own online giving page that students, parents and faculty can share with friends and family:
http://events.lls.org/pages/az/Horizon-Honors-School-2019
Be sure to set that up soon and start saving lives. When you create your online fundraising page and start raising money online you become eligible to receive awesome Hero Squad Gear!

In addition, at the end of the month, the top fundraising 3rd block class could be eligible for a lunch catered by Olive Garden. The competition runs from November 1st – 30th.

Thank you in advance for helping LLS to create a world without blood cancers! For more information on the Collect for Cures program, please visit http://www.studentseries.org/

GAME DAY COMPETITION
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd
Your help is needed!  Spiritline is competing for the first time in the Game Day category of a state qualifier competition.  Game Day competitions see which team can perform the best routine as if they were actually at a sporting event.  The traditional cheerleading competition routine consists of tumbling, stunting, jumping, dancing, and cheer, however the Game Day routine is a combination of crowd leading cheers and a fight song performance. The team will be judged on props including signs, pompoms, megaphones, and flags. They will also be scored on how they lead the crowd and crowd interaction. The team is not allowed to tumble or stunt. It is all about sharpness, technique, choreography and crowd appeal.

We need your help maximizing our score sheet!  We need a crowd!  Come and join us at Verrado HS at 20050 W. Indian School, Buckeye.

See You There! Go Eagles!
WINTER ATHLETICS
