COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
SALVATION ARMY
RED SHIELD SURVIVAL SQUAD
We are gearing up and preparing for extremely hot days by hitting the streets and providing heat relief to our neighbors in need!  As the temperatures continue to rise we need your help in building our Red Shield Survival Squad!

We will have 15 water and cooling stations across the valley that will be open on days of extreme heat; when the National Weather Service issues a warning. Because these warnings are unpredictable, and come at short notice, we are looking for volunteers that would be willing to be emergency heat responders. We will contact you via text or email when a heat advisory is issued.

If you are willing to be a short term notice, emergency response volunteer member of our Survival Squad please visit The Salvation Army to register your name, email, and phone number. For further information, please call 602-267-4177.
