CureAccelerator Live! is a philanthropic pitch event, raising awareness of and funding for innovative repurposing research projects, with up to $50,000 in funding for the winning project announced that evening! This RFP is open to researchers and clinicians in southern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, DC  and Virginia. The finals of this Mid-Atlantic Region CureAccelerator Live! is October 16, 2018 in the Washington DC area in partnership with ExL Events's Collaborations Addressing Vulnerable Populations Forum

This RFP is seeking repurposed treatments to address Retinitis Pigmentosa.
​Up to $75,000 in funding is available.

2018 Longest Day of Golf
Raises Nearly $40,000


On June 11, 25 golfers came together at Ravinia Green to golf from dawn until dusk, each raising funds for Cures Within Reach.

So far, golfers have raised nearly $40,000 to fund cancer-related repurposing research.... and there's still time to contribute!

We're accepting LDOG donations through July 31.

CureAccelerator Live! will be presented on night one of the two-day conference Collaborations Addressing Vulnerable Populations Forum (CAVP). CureAccelerator Live! is a philanthropic pitch competition that gives attendees the chance to find and fund the next breakthrough repurposing treatment. The finalists on October 16 will be Principal Investigators from Mid-Atlantic region research institutions; finalists will be announced September 2018.
Registration (open soon) is $50 before September 17,
or free with CAVP Forum registration with RSVP.

The CAVP Forum will provide attendees with the opportunity to attend sessions from five unique tracks. We will highlight how drug repurposing can alleviate development costs, discuss different ways to ensure access to safe and cost-affective drugs, examine regulatory pathways and incentives targeting rare and neglected tropical diseases, and explore public–private partnerships that support the development of new treatments for vulnerable populations.
