In the hall after Liturgy this year, we will be doing 10-15 minute discussions with the theme "I believe", what it really means to have faith, and the place of the Church, and the sacramental life of the Church's place in faith, and how we can grow as persons by becoming more engaged in it, including Liturgy.  Included in the course of the year will be discussion of the book "God's Crime Scene" where a cold case detective came to faith by investigating God's presence in the universe as he would based on the scientific methodology used in solving crimes, as well as several scientists who have come to faith.  It should be an enjoyable year, where everyone, youth and adults, can grow in their faith and grow as persons

Prayer for enemies by St. Nikolai
Lord Jesus Christ,
Who did command us to love our enemies, and those who defame an injure us, and pray for them and forgive them, who Yourself  did pray for Your enemies, who crucified you:  grant us, we pray the spirit of Christian reconciliation and meekness, that we may heartily forgive every injury and be reconciled with our enemies.  Grant us to overcome the malevolence and offences of people with Christian meekness and true love of our neighbor.  We further beseech Thee, O Lord, to grant our enemies true peace and forgiveness of sins; and do not allow them to leave this life without true faith and sincere conversion.  And help us repay evil with goodness, and to remain safe from the temptations of the devil and from all the perils which threaten us, in the form of visible and invisible enemies.  AMEN.
