View this email in your browser   Hello ,     For some people, volunteering is about giving. But for our valued advocates, it is a way of living. As we move into October, the month of giving thanks, we give thanks to you for all your incredible work towards creating a culture of donation in Ontario. This bulletin is jam packed with information about opportunities and activities. We look forward to your involvement!     Applications available!     Advocates planning activities in 2019 may be eligible for funding support. We are now accepting applications for activities happening between Jan 1st- March 31st, 2019. There are 4 deadlines to support activities throughout the upcoming year- the first deadline is Nov 30, 2018. For more information on the process click here. Applications can be submitted by clicking the following link.     Lung Recipients needed!     November is National Lung Month and we need your help! Each week during Lung Month, TGLN will feature one lung recipient on Facebook and Twitter. Our goal is to inspire more Ontarians to register as organ and tissue donors. If you are a lung recipient and want to participate in this initiative, please contact Kirk at kdematas@giftoflife.on.ca by Friday, October 12, 2018.     Award Nominations Open Soon!     TGLN is proud to support the exceptional advocates committed to raising awareness of organ and tissue donation across Ontario. Celebrate an individual or advocate group in your community by nominating them for the Advocates in Action Award. Nomination submissions will open on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
