From your friends and family in Christ at Tallahassee Christian College and Training Center:
We wish you a profoundly joyous celebration of the coming of our Lord and Savior, now and forevermore!  The world peddles alluring lumps of coal, but as it says in Isaiah, “Why spend money on what is not food, and your wages on what does not satisfy?” (55:2)  Our God reveals in His Holy Word what truly satisfies, matters, and endures.
When the wise men saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. (Mathew 2:10)  The shepherds glorified and praised God for all they had seen.  (Luke 2:20)   There has been born to us a Savior, Christ the Lord!!!  As the apostle Paul said, “Always rejoice!”
(1 Thessalonians 5:16)

TCCTC graduate Elizabeth Adejokun-Ojo was born in a small town in Nigeria, West Africa. She has been in the United States for 37 years except for a short visit to Nigeria in 2015. Before enrolling at TCCTC Elizabeth earned an associate degree in data processing at Tallahassee Community College then transferred to FSU to complete her B.S. in accounting.

Elizabeth says: "I am blessed with three children and three grandchildren (for now) and many great Spiritual children who are my reason for attending TCCTC’s Master's Program in Christian Counseling. I started taking classes to help with the Children's ministry at my Church. I was looking for biblical training to equip me in counseling and advocating for the youth in my Church and in the community. Little did I know that I would be the one blessed with biblical knowledge and training that would better my Christian life. A new world of opportunity was opened to me. I am blessed with a whole new Christian family and friends who teach me the love of God, who are there for me in my good times and bad times, and who went out of their way to see me complete the program.

I am so honored and grateful to the Verona Lee Kirby family for all their prayers and support. The spotlight should be on the dedicated staff and instructors who are very passionate in showing the love of God in all their teaching. I am forever grateful. I truly see the love of God as said by our Lord Jesus in John 13:35 — A true disciple of God.
In most of our classes, we are asked to write down what we have learned and how we will apply it in our Church or in the community. So, I ask myself, what is next?  What do I do with what I have been entrusted with? Only one thing to do, pass it on. We are to go and make disciples. I have been discipled."

Elizabeth's chosen verses are on the Supremacy of Christ:
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:  And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. Colossians 1:15-18
She ends by saying: "My hope is in God alone."
