Join us for Brunch
​November 13 at Casa Monica Hotel
Don't miss Rotary District 6970 Alumni Association's inaugural social event. ​Sign up now to attend brunch at the renowned Costa Brava restaurant in the Casa Monica Hotel, St. Augustine on Sunday, November 13 at 11:00 am. Feel free to bring a guest. Costa Brava’s brunch is extravagant and extensive. Attendees will enjoy a wide selection of breakfast items, carving stations, sea food and Mimosas while sharing their Rotary stories and deepening Rotary friendships. Please RSVP to Alumni Association President Roseanne Stocker at rstocker1@outlook.com by October 20 if you plan to attend. Thanks to help from Rotary International, the cost for the brunch will be only $25 – a little more than half the usual cost.

Roseanne Stocker
President


Roseanne lives in Flagler Beach, Florida and is a member/director of the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach. A Rotarian since 2000, Roseanne was an Ambassadorial Scholar in Mexico City in 1983-84. Roseanne is Chairperson of Rotary Club of Flagler Beach’s main service project, “Project Share” which supplies monthly groceries for up to 250 families in need and Christmas toys for over 1000 children – many of whom are Mexican farm workers who work in Florida’s fern industry.

Megan Forbes
Vice-President


Megan lives in Micanopy, Florida and is director of the University of Florida English Language Institute. She is a member and past-president of the RC of Downtown Gainesville and was a 2015-16 area governor in District 6970.  A Rotarian since 2001, Megan was invited to join Rotary after traveling as a member of a D. 6970 Group Study Exchange Team to D. 3070 in Northern India.  She has also served as District GSE chair and as a member of the District Ambassadorial Scholarship Committee. Megan knows what a life-changing experience these foundation programs have been for so many, and is excited to help everyone reconnect.

Yamini Munipalli
Secretary


Yamini is a former Ambassadorial scholar to McGill University. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida and is a member of the Arlington Rotary Club. Since 1998 she has worked in software development as a Test Engineer for businesses and the government. She is passionate about the alumni association because of her interest in bringing like-minded people together to promote peace and goodwill.

Kelsey Breen
Treasurer


Kelsey was a District 6970 Rotary Youth Exchange Student from Jacksonville, Florida to Miaoli, Taiwan in her junior year of high school from 2009-2010. Kelsey is a former Interact Club member and has been an active member of Rotex. Kelsey is honored to serve as association treasurer and looks forward to bringing the exchange student’s perspective to alumni association activities

Ken Baker
District Alumni Chair


Ken lives in Jacksonville and is President of Western Natural Gas Co.  He has been a Rotarian for 34 years and served as District 6970 Governor in 2004-05. Ken is excited to be a part of chartering a Rotary Alumni Association to maintain Rotary connections or to re-connect alumni to Rotary. Ken believes that a strong alumni association is an important part of Rotary’s mission

Bill Hill
District Rotary Advisor


Bill has worn many Rotary hats including District Foundation Chair. A Past-President of Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach, Bill is passionate about fostering strong alumni relations. He has participated in Group Study Exchanges to Argentina, Italy and Brazil.
