About Esther Choy

Technical communication professionals translate the language of a complex world, relate technical concepts to a broader audience, and persuade that audience to take action. Yet when we’re asked to share information about ourselves, many of us feel stumped and fumble for words.

Since the dawn of time, our ancestors told stories to inform and influence. Our own story can help us build our influence. In this 60-minute interactive webinar, Esther Choy, author of the new book, Let the Story Do the Work, leads you through her Storytelling Process to help you capture the essence of your value, weave critical data in a narrative format, and tell endless brief and brilliant stories. Next time someone asks you to “Tell me about yourself,” you’ll know exactly what to say!

Our STC TC Website is Coming Into Its Own with Help from Society Volunteers!

The website at stctc.org has been migrated to WordPress and we are working on adding content and improving usability. Ayanfe is working on adding our Twitter feed to the website. We are busy trimming images and sprucing up the look of our site. Please join us if you are interested in learning how to edit a Wordpress platform website.

We are looking to build a volunteer web team to manage the site, including a webmaster. If you are interested, please write to babs7344@hotmail.com and let Barbara know.
