Join the New STC Community Programming Group on Slack!
If you have not already done so, join the Slack team! Ideas on how to do programming are percolating there. I, for one, am excited about the prospect of sharing webinars and programs with other STC chapters throughout the country.

The purpose of this channel is for the STC community and chapters to discuss programming and how to get good programming to their member communities. BTW, Barbara is babs online.

Our STC TC Website is Coming Into Its Own with Help from Society Volunteers!

The website at has been migrated to WordPress and we are working on adding content and improving usability. We are now looking to build a volunteer web team to manage the site, including a webmaster. If you are interested, please write to and let Barbara know.

Getting Some Tech Help has Never Been Easy

But we are about to get some help where help is needed. STC TC will be getting technical support from the Wilder Foundation to ensure smooth technical performance with our webinars.

Additionally, we are looking forward to STC national switching from AdobeConnect to GoToWebinar, because we use STC's meeting software. Stay tuned!

STC TC has created a Facebook group. It's basically a chat room where members who are on Facebook can join a private discussion of all things tech comm!

Join us here. Your requests will be approved as they come in.
