Welcome Cohort 11!

This month, the 11th cohort of 25 motivated students began their journey with College Connect. 

Families came together to learn about what is in store for the upcoming year, and connect with their new extended community of families on the path to college together.​
 
 
Bryant Joins In For #HourOfCode

All across the world, students are learning how to code thanks to online resources like code.org. #HourOfCode brings coding into classrooms each year the first week of December.  Students in the Bryant Extended Day Program pulled up a chair and built their own video games, becoming coders!​

"Our Stories" Comes to life​
​
Mission Graduates' partnership with
​ SF Youth Theatre came to an amazing culmination in December. 

​Student at Flynn Elementary took to the stage to share music, skits, art, and dances that speak to their family history, culture, and what unifies them as a school community.
 
 
Class of 2018 Presses 'Submit'

Seniors at John O'Connell High School have been busy with essays, transcripts, and applications this year.

Over 90% of the eligible students made the deadline to apply to California State University and University of California this fall.  Now on to scholarships!​

Sanchez Students Decorate 
Davies Hall for the Holidays

Mission Graduates was excited to be asked to help decorate the San Francisco Symphony for the holidays.  Students from Sanchez Elementary decorated tin art, sharing a bit of their own culture with audiences through the holidays.​
 
 
A Spotlight on Promotoras: Julia

​Head over to the MG facebook page to learn more about the amazing parent leaders we call Promotoras.  Working alongside staff, these 7 outreach workers present important information to parents at our 14 schools.
